I am a contemporary California Impressionist who paints the Southern California coast with bold, confident brushwork.
Working both on location and in my San Diego studio, I paint coastal scenes, florals, still lifes, and landscapes with the same direct energy. Each piece is simplified to its essence, brought to life through varied textures and dynamic contrasts.
My path to art began after a career in physical therapy. Now, most paintings are created on location, translating the immediate experience of place into vibrant impressionist works.
